Please see below for answers to common questions from customers
Unfortunately no, we operate from a converted space at home. You can however, make your order via our website and select “collect directly from us” in the shipping area. We will then email you with our address and arrange a convenient time for you to collect. We also attend regular Farmers Markets and Food Fairs, dates can be found in the drop down section on our website.
During the summer months, we keep a close eye on temperatures as chocolate can be affected by heat in transit. If temperatures are exceptionally high, we may delay dispatch to help ensure your order arrives in the best possible condition.
If hot weather affects your order, we will email you with these options:
Our parcels are collected late in the day and are taken to the Royal Mail depot, this minimises time spent travelling on the first day in the heat of the vans. However, we have no control over when it’s delivered. We only use 24 hour tracked, which is prioritised over other parcels. 97% of the time they arrive the next day, but Royal Mail says allow 1-2 working days for delivery.
We’ll always do our best to dispatch your chocolates at the safest time possible, but extreme heat can still carry a risk of melting.
Currently our website only supports a single address for shipping, if you require orders to multiple addresses you will need to place separate orders for each.
Please double-check all billing and shipping information before completing your transaction. This is especially important if you have used an express checkout option with autofill.
We cannot be held responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address. If the wrong address is provided and the order does not reach its destination, refunds or replacement items will not be issued.
We always aim to process orders on the same day they are received, so they’re ready for dispatch the following day. However, as we are a small business operating from a converted home workspace, this cannot always be guaranteed.
During particularly busy periods-such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas, processing times may be slightly longer. At these times, please allow an additional 2–3 days for your order to be prepared.
We may delay dispatching orders ahead of bank holiday weekends to reduce the risk of parcels being held at depots during the closure period.
If you need an order by a specific date, please write this in the "order notes" section in the cart area or send us an email with the request, and we do our best to get the order delivered on this date or as close to it as possible.
We only use 24 hour tracked and Royal Mail says to allow two working days for delivery.
If for whatever reason there will be a delay longer than 5 working days, we will contact you via email.
Once Royal Mail has your order, you will receive an automated email from them with your tracking number (please check spam folders).
If you don’t receive it, contact us and we can email your number to you.
Please double-check all billing and shipping information before completing your transaction. This is especially important if you have used an express checkout option with autofill.

Our bonbons have a shelf life of 4–5 weeks.
For Christmas, we launch our pre-order system at the beginning of November, allowing you to place your order in advance and select your preferred delivery week — the 1st, 2nd or 3rd week of December.
All bonbons produced from the beginning of December will have a shelf life that extends into January, making them perfect for gifting or enjoying throughout the festive season.
If you wanted a gift item before that delivery time, we have designed a Nut & Caramel Collection, these bonbons do not contain ganache and therefore have a longer shelf life of 12–14 weeks.
All of our bonbons will be marked with a best before date of 4-5 weeks after production, although they last for some time after that, it is our hope that they are consumed at their very best.
We try not to compromise on the flavour of the chocolates by using fresh ingredients and not adding too many sugars and preservatives to extend the shelf life as this can affect the flavour and texture of the fillings.
Your chocolates will arrive in a card box that will protect them from direct sunlight, but any sunlight or heat source should be avoided unless you want to eat your chocolates with a spoon. Find a cool, dark and dry place in your home to store them, between 16c and 21c is a perfect storage temperature, if temperatures exceed 25c then you could run into problems.
You can store them in the fridge, but it is not recommended as the product may absorb strong odours and they may lose its shine and appeal. They are prone to collecting condensation when moved from a cold environment to a warm one, but if you like cold chocolate go for it.
The allergens are clearly marked in bold for each flavour on our website, and on the base of the box there will be a full list of ingredients and allergens. If you would like to customise your box to avoid any allergens, you can do so in the custom box section.
Please bear in mind that we work in a small facility that handles milk, nuts, nut products, gluten and soya, and as a result we can not 100% guarantee that the products are free from these ingredients.
As many as you like! There is no limit to how many you can order, but for large quantity orders such as special events or celebrations we do ask that you contact us in advance so we can fulfil your request.
If you have a special request for an event you are planning or would like something more specific then do contact us at info@woodrowchocolates.com and we will try our best to make your vision a reality.
Although the boxes do fit through some letter boxes, we have found that this is not always the case.
There is an "Order Notes" section when you go to cart, here you can add additional delivery instructions
