How long will my chocolates last?
All of our bonbons will be marked with a best before date of four weeks although they last for many weeks after that, but it is our hope that they are consumed at their very best.
We try not to compromise on the flavour of the chocolates by using fresh ingredients and not adding too many sugars and preservatives to extend the shelf life as this can affect the flavour and texture of the fillings.
How do I store the chocolates?
Your chocolates will arrive in a card box that will protect them from direct sunlight, but any sunlight or heat source should be avoided unless you want to eat your chocolates with a spoon. Find a cool, dark and dry place in your home to store them, between 16c and 21c is a perfect storage temperature (a wine fridge will work if you have one), if temperatures exceed 25c then you could run into problems.
You can store them in the fridge but it is not recommended as the product may lose its shine and appeal, also they are prone to collecting condensation when moved from a cold environment to a warm one, but if you like cold chocolate go for it.
I have allergies, how will I know the contents?
In each box you will find an insert that will highlight in bold each of the recognised 14 allergens for each of our flavours available and they can also be found on our website in tyhe ingredients and allergens tab.
Please bear in mind that we work in a small facility that handles milk, nuts, nut products, gluten and soya, and as a result we can not 100% guarantee that the products are free from these ingredients.
How many can I order?
As many as you like! There is no limit to how many you can order, but for large quantity orders such as special events or celebrations we do ask that you contact us in advance so we can fulfil your request.
If you have a special request for an event you are planning or would like something more specific then do contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try our best to make your vision a reality.
Will the package fit through my letter box?
Although the boxes do fit through some letter boxes, we have found that this is not always the case. So we do recommend that you choose tracked and signed for deliveries if you are concerned about this.
